THOMAS (1805-1875).-Poet, _b._ at Woodbridge, _pub._ poems, dramas, sonnets, and a translation of Dante's _Inferno_. Among his writings are _Tasso and the Sisters_ (1825), _Mundi et Cordis Carmina_ (1835); _Duke Andrea_ (1828), and _The Jew of Arragon_ (1830), both tragedies, and the _Phrenologists_ (1830), a farce.
