STORER

THOMAS (1571-1604).-Poet, _b._ in London, and _ed._ at Oxf., wrote a long poem, _The Life and Death of Thomas Wolsey, Cardinal_. STORY, WILLIAM WETMORE (1819-1895).-Sculptor, poet, etc., _b._ at Salem, Mass., was intended for the law, but became a sculptor and an eminent man of letters. His writings include _Roba di Roma_ (1862), _The Tragedy of Nero_ (1875), _The Castle of St. Angelo_ (1877), _He and She_ (1883), _Conversations in a Studio_, _A Poet's Portfolio_ (1894), etc.
