THOMAS GORDON (1809-1895).-Poet, _b._ at Leeds, _ed._ at Christ's Hospital, was a physician, and practised at various places. His books include _Madeline_ (1871), _Parables and Tales_ (1873), _The Serpent Play_ (1883), _New Day Sonnets_ (1890), and _Memoirs of Eighty Years_ (1893).
